Corporate expert workers have taken part in the provision of financing of a construction scheme of Gofra, a factory for the production of packaging paper and boxes in the Moscow region. For this scheme amounting to 17 million Euros Czech Commercial Bank has been awarded the award "The 2006 best business", a prestigious award of the journal Global Trade Review.
Co-operating with the EGAP credit assurance company, implemented was historically the first multi-sourcing financing of export in the Czech Republic, moreover, a Czech bank being a project leader. At the same time, EGAP diversified the risk of the whole transaction by way of collateral activity with foreign assurance companies (EULER HERMES and COFACE), these assurance companies having insured their national shares, i.e. deliveries by German or French companies. It may be stated that this way they confirmed their reliance upon the financial structure and upon EGAP being the lead insurer of the whole transaction. Aided by the project manager, Mr. Rafael Karpíšek, MSc, who controlled the whole scheme together with KB representatives, a consortium agreement was established of six companies from various countries, being headed by a Czech supplying company. Thus, all conditions were met to enable the financing and its insurance.
"It is just the rapidity to be one of important parameters of this business. Only five months passed from the success in the competitive bidding in a Russian bank, through the establishment of a consortium, harmonizing of interests of ten different subjects, reworking of six individual contracts, conclusion of a credit contract, to an insurance scheme. All the interested parties were satisfied with the pilot scheme in such a manner that as early as now we have been negotiating a repetition of a similar transaction", Mrs. Jana Švábenská says, being the KB's director of the Business and export financing dept.
As stated by EEE's project manager, Mr. Rafael Karpíšek, MSc, the export financing is a splendid opportunity to acquire financial resources for foreign schemes and helps to maintain the growth of the Czech economy as Czech supplier companies have been engaged in such schemes.
In the recent time we have been working on several foreign schemes, in both public and private sectors, and have been developing co-operation not only with the Czech, but also with foreign financial subjects.
